Gears of War has been confirmed to be working with Netflix to bring us some awesome new Gears content! Including a Live Action movie AND a animated series!
Gears of War was released 16 years ago today and to mark the occasion, Netflix has partnered with The Coalition to adapt the @GearsofWar video game saga into a live action feature film, followed by an adult animated series — with the potential for more stories to follow! pic.twitter.com/3zInFSnUu4
Everyone seems to have jumped to the conclusion that the movie and animated series will be of Delta squad and not a spin off or passing of the lancer like we've had with the likes of HIVE Busters, Gears Tactics and even Rise of RAAM / RAAMs Shadow.
